Afterschool Program (HW Assistance, Enrichment, Classes)

 

In the EWB Afterschool Program, students complete their homework with the assistance of instructors and TA's, followed by enrichment packets that reinforce what they are learning in school. Students can also take extra classes such as Reading, Math, Science, Essay Writing, and Creative Writing.

 

For Grades K-6 , we provide children with engaging learning activities through our enrichment programs, including: homework help, literacy, fitness, character development, and science, all in one safe, convenient place.

 

English Enrichment Program

 

With comprehensive weekly lessons in vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking and good study habits, our friendly instructors help elementary and middle school students (3rd to 7th grade) build a strong English foundation.

 

Math

 

Math classes at EWB are a great way to stay ahead of the curve! Our classes follow the local schools’ curriculum, including the new Common Core , while encouraging students to work at a faster pace to get ahead of their peers.

 

 

Writer’s Workshop

 

Through the study of grammar and academic and creative writing methods aligned with the Common Core, Our Writer’s Workshop classes give students the extra help they need to gain mastery over written expression. Our writing teachers add a personal touch, inspiring students’ love for writing.
